Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart. Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart will be stepping in as the general manager at the upcoming Neo Wrestling Federation event June 9 at the Gale Centre in Niagara Falls.
Neo Wrestling Federation’s next show is poised to be the Niagara wrestling company’s biggest show yet at a special venue with a very special guest.
The June 9 event, Art of War: The Hart of Darkness, will feature a special general manager presiding over the matches: Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart.
“We’re 100 per cent pumped to have Bret Hart join us for the evening,” said NWF’s Jesse Scott. “We see this as a launching point for the future of our company.”
In anticipation of having the former WWE wrestler’s fans coming out to show support, event organizers have moved from their usual Fight Club Canada venue to the Gale Centre. With more a capacity of more than 1,000, this will be the company’s biggest event yet.
“We’re hoping for a sell-out,” said Scott.
With Hart in control of the company for the event, he’ll be working hard to undo some of the damage current president Danger Boy Derek Wylde has be doing over the past few months.
“He’s going to really try to set things back on track, because Danger Boy has been running things into the ground,” said Scott.
One of Hart’s first orders of business? Reassembling The Italianos tag team and bringing them back for a tag team title match against The Pissbeaters.
Danger Boy will also be in the ring, fighting not only for the independent championship but to keep control of his company from Tiberious King.
Arch rivals Shawn Spears and Cody Deaner will face off in a last man standing match, where to win the match one of the wrestlers has to knock-out the other.
The rest of Hart’s fight lineup will be announced closer to the event and like any Neo Wrestling Federation show, expect a lot of surprises.
Tickets for the event, set to take place at 7:30 p.m. on June 9, will go on sale April 6.
There will be a special VIP package available for $100 which includes a Bret Hart T-shirt, autographed sunglasses, a meet and greet before the show and front row seats.
Floor seats in rows 2-6 will be available for $35 and the rest of the floor seats are $25. Bleacher seats will be $15.
Tickets will be available for purchase in locations throughout Niagara Falls and St. Catharines, as well as online at the company’s website, www.neowrestlingfederation.com.
In St. Catharines, tickets will be available at NEX, Octagon Mixed Martial Arts Store. In Niagara Falls, at Niagara Family Martial Arts, Pulp Comics, and Fit-Mass Nutrition.
